SYNOPSIS
Say My Name is about Sheung Min, a Korean immigrant who is haunted by ghosts day and night asking her to release their souls while she is preparing for her citizenship test. Sheung Min subsequently realizes these ghosts were pioneer women immigrants who made a contribution to Asian American history but were not recognized as American citizens.

Mari Beazley is currently earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Halfway through her degree Mari has found that through global stresses, art and theatre have not yet failed in bringing a necessary mixture of knowledge, joy, and a calming energy to people. Stressful times have solidified Mari's love of performance and she will continue to do what she loves until she does not love it anymore. Mari is so grateful to be a part of this production which tells the stories of not just women, but women of Asian origins. As an actress who is both, a production that tells empowering stories about women like her is a rare and important opportunity that is impossible for her to pass up on.
