Local Theater Company presented the 6th Annual Local Lab New Play Festival March 17-19, 2017, at Dairy Arts Center. The festival--for the first time completely sold out--featured three new works: Wisdom From Everything by Mia McCullough; Shostakovich, or Silence by Jason Grote; and a modern verse translation of The Merchant of Venice by William Shakespeare, translated by Elise Thoron.
In addition, festival passholders also participated in Pain Management, a 3-part devised theater workshop that will culminate into a public presentation this spring.
